Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl Unreal Engine VR Gameplay and Performance Test | RTX 4090 i9 13900K
9After a few hours of trial and error and nonstop game crashes,I finally figured out a way to get this game to run in VR…If anyone else is having similar issues,especially with the Xbox PC Gamepass version,what worked for me was to play the game via Virtual Desktop and OpenVR…also make sure you start the injection process on synchronized sequential and not native…most importantly,make sure you have the ghosting fix option unchecked,in fact,unticking this option was what finally allowed the game to play in VR without any issues…as a precautionary measure,switch the game to the low preset and DLSS to ultra performance…this game is an absolute beast to run,even on flatscreen,on an RTX 4090 no less…after you get the game up and running on your headset and depending on your GPU and your “testicular fortitude”…you can try increasing the graphical fidelity…incrementally though,in my case because I’m spoiled and never seem to learn my lesson,I was able to get away with setting the graphical preset to medium…and DLSS to “quality”yeahI know,,I never learn🤣 lastly,I’m not sure if it’s a placebo effect or not but I tried setting the game to 1080p and windowed,I mainly did that in order to also monitor my OBS recording software to make sure it was still running and recording my footage properly….anyways,I’ll shutup now,enjoy the video and feel free to leave any comments,suggestions or any questions etc if you need any assistance👍 🏽 🙂
