The continent of Elwes was formed by the Light Elf and Dark Elf after their many conflicts, but the balance of the land is about to be broken by a full scale war. The Abyss Empire, led by Emperor Abyss III, seeks to conquer the continent in the name of "peace." At the same time, the champion of one of the empire's villages, Ire, joins Byin and Leed in their quest to seal the Dark Elf and restore balance, but naively forgets to consider that this means getting involved in Abyss's war.
Since the SRPG genre isn't my forte, don't expect stellar gameplay. I'll be surprised if I actually manage to beat this game on Hard mode.

At Drach Fortress, Byin promises to return to his princely duties after he helps the party finish sealing the Dark Elf. There are more monster attacks all over the place because of the Dark Elf, so the party needs to hurry to Emperor Abyss in his palace.
Chapter 17: The Valley of Death
There are no yellow NPCs to protect, but the enemy is strategic about placing their mages. All the offensive mages are placed on hills where they cannot be reached easily, and the slingers will make it hard for fliers to approach. Fortunately, I have my own slingers, though I still need Byin for taking out some distant targets. The highlands tiles will also make it hard for units to move quickly, so try to walk around those if possible.
Be sure to get to the glyph near the first mage, since that one allows you to get the Orange Flash, assuming you already picked up the Lightning Maru and Orange Maru items. This weapon provides a large boost to movement, which will be handy for cavalry if they fight indoors.
