This video is a gift to anyone who plays the 3DO version of Star Control 2 but wishes they had the "lander bug" in order to get unlimited resource units. Who wants to spend all their time mining resources on planets just to get some fuel or upgrade their ship?

This cheat takes the boring part out of the game. Just give me my 4 fuel tanks nice and early so I can go scan those rainbow worlds and get my tech upgrades from the Melnorme!

Remember to put the .cht file in the retroarch/cheats folder. If you do not have a folder, go to Online Updater then Update Cheats. The cheats come with nothing for 3DO, so you may want to create a subfolder for it. I just made this cheat by activating 16-bit scanning mode, then I kept inputting the number for the resource units. Within 2 or 3 tries, I had the memory address locked down. Same technology used by Game Genie. Anyone can do it.
I love that Retroarch has this built-in. Wish they would make it easier to scan for 4-digit numbers on Android. Ditch the finger-swiping, and let us input the number please.
