Dosbox-Pure is a fork of the classic Dosbox which provides functionality very useful for Retroarch. Most of the keys used for DOS games are mapped to controller buttons, like Start=Enter, Select=Escape, joypad=arrow keys. Spacebar is mapped as well as a few other buttons.

Being built for libretro/retroarch means dos games are easily playable on Linux, Windows, Mac, Android, Raspberry Pi, etc. etc...With automatic image mounting, operating system installation, mouse, keyboard, and joystick emulation, automatic controller mapping, gamepad mapper, and an on-screen keyboard, it makes playing DOS games much more convenient!
