After finding the enemy bioweapon in Aquas, Fox and his team enter Zoness, another oceanic world where it also got polluted. Fox is then tasked with destroying the enemy searchlights, and along the way, his team meet up with Katt, who seems to know Falco, and she helps them out.

Next is Zoness, this one is also an oceanic world, but unlike with Aquas, you are not underwater, and the water is polluted with toxic waste. I did read on the Star Fox Wiki that Zoness is said to be Falco's home planet, and we do meet up with Katt Monroe, an acquaintance of Falco, and she is the only female character in Star Fox 64, and she has the same voice actress as Slippy, even though Slippy is male.
When you arrive at Zoness, the Star Fox team comment on how this place is like a dump, and the main objective for Zoness is to shoot the searchlights, and Falco does help out with shooting some of them, if any searchlight spots you, they will change to a darker orange colour, indicating that you have been spotted.
Slippy will be under attack, and Peppy tells Fox to follow his father's example, and Katt will make her appearance. There are a lot of enemies, including large sea creatures that are affected by the pollution caused by the toxic waste. Katt will be under attack, and after the checkpoint, Peppy tells you shoot the rudder, this can allow you to get past the gates, as some searchlights are hidden behind them. Then we find some enemy tankers, and after getting past enemies and obstacles, Falco comments on how they don't even quit, and if you shoot the enemy he is targeting, he tells Fox to back off.
Then we find some barrels in the sea, and this is when we encounter the boss for this planet, this is Sarumarine, one of my favourite bosses in this game, I really like his accent. Sarumarine is tough, you are going to need bombs to damage his armour, and the cannonballs he fires do provide bombs when you shoot them.
The first thing you have to do is destroy the exhaust pipes, because if you try to destroy both sides that shoot cannonballs, Sarumarine can repair itself and undo the damage you deal to it, it's only after destroying the exhaust pipes you can do that, and he will them lower the crane, destroy the crane so Sarumarine cannot repair itself. Once both units are destroyed, Sarumarine starts shooting and firing the chained cannonball, and it will be vulnerable to lasers, allowing you to defeat it, and your next destination depends on whether or not you were spotted by the searchlights.
If you were not spotted, you can go to Sector Z, otherwise if you are spotted, that means you go to Macbeth, and the medal for Zoness requires 250 hits, as there are a lot of enemies in the area.
