The Aparoids have been defeated and peace returns to the Lylat system (for now). Still not sure how Fox knew everyone was okay.

Now for some final thoughts on this game. I think Star Fox Assault is an underrated game that can be fun to play. I thought the Arwing missions were very fun and I felt that even the on-foot missions can be pretty fun at times. It has a fantastic soundtrack and a great multiplayer mode for a GameCube title that is absolutely fun with four people.

That being said, this game is also relatively rough around the edges. The mission structure for the on-foot missions gets a bit tiring and repetitive, your teammates are very unhelpful in missions and keep getting themselves in trouble, and the writing is also very rough. Several times your teammates state the obvious, such as telling you when you are damaging him when it's painfully obvious that you are causing damage to an enemy, and the plot is overall not very memorable, but I don't think the plot detracts too much with how fun the game is.

Overall, a good, underrated game that I would give a try. Not as good as Star Fox 64 but still pretty fun.
