Star Trek: Bridge Commander - Precursor Mark One Flagship
5Today's Starship Spotlight is the Precursor Mark One Flagship. The Flagship is actually a Precursor tugboat designed as a multi-purpose "workhorse". The structural skeleton of the ship has sixteen slots along its spine for mounting modules; the Humans add modules for crew, cargo, power generation and weapons. Navigational thrusters are mounted along the stuts. Because The Flagship is incapable of planetfall, it can carry up to ten Planet Landers, which are used for exploration and collection of minerals, biological data and artifacts. Up to twelve support vessels can escort the flagship.
The Flagship can mount three different kinds of primary weapons modules: the Ion-Bolt Gun, the Fusion Blaster, and the Hellbore Cannon, in order of increasing offensive power and energy drain. Only four slots, the front three and final aft slots, can accommodate a primary weapon module.
