24Todays Starship Spotlight is the USS Enterprise G (Eclipse Class). The USS Enterprise G, an Eclipse-class starship, is a heavy cruiser and explorer commissioned in 2501 AD at the San Francisco Shipyards. Measuring 740 meters in length, it features 22 decks and advanced warp capabilities, including a maximum speed of Warp 9.99 for emergencies. Equipped with extensive transporter systems and small craft bays, it was designed for long-term missions with a resupply cycle of 10 years and a refit cycle of 20 years. Tragically, the Enterprise G was destroyed in 2533 AD during a battle with 4 Undine Cruisers, marking the end of its operational life. The USS Enterprise G's bridges suffered sever damage causing the saucer, drive and thunderbird section to become inoperable causing the Enterprise to be pulled to the surface of the planet Meridian and crashing. No survivors located.
