5Welcome to my Star Trek Online gameplay guide where I walk you through the character creation process in 2023 for this classic MMORPG. If you've never played STO before, you're in for a treat; this is one of the best Trek games out there and the fact that it's cross-platform when it used to be PC means anyone can play.
The character creation process of Star Trek: Online as it exists today is a lot different from when I first played this game back on the PC years ago. There are a lot of new elements to customize, with various races, factions and timeline stories which give you some unique quest chains, as well as the career paths that you can choose, from the Science, Engineering, or Tactical options.
