9Welcome to my Star Trek Online gameplay guide where I walk you through the Discovery Starfleet introduction tutorial missions which guide you through from character creation of your Discovery Starfleet character, through to ground combat and space combat tutorials to help get you up to speed with STO.
Note that I'm playing the Xbox version of Star Trek Online on my Series X. This video was recorded in March of 2023 as part of my introduction series for new players to STO as we explore the various factions and timelines available at character creation.
Each one of these various storylines has a unique series of tutorial quests that you embark upon depending if you choose the TOS, Dominion, general Starfleet, Klingon, or beyond. In this case, we went with the Discovery Starfleet intro campaign, which gives us a unique storyline for this particular timeline.
