Star Wars HELL Explained: "Chaos" and The Netherworld
Hell exists in the Star Wars Universe, and it's called Chaos. Watch to find out more!
Have you ever wondered where Palpatine went after his death(s)? Or how about where long dead Sith like Marko Ragnos reside? What about Han's use of "I'll see you in Hell!
Meet a place called Chaos, which (allegedly) seems to be the Star Wars version of Hell. Although largely a legend, it has also been studied by, among others, Plageius and Palpatine. Today we'll talk about Chaos / Star Wars hell as it existed with legends.
Summary:
Chaos is a section of the Netherworld - where the spirits of force sensitives (or perhaps everyone?) - go after death. The Netherworld is referred to directly by Yoda in Revenge of the Sith, when he tells Obi Wan that Qui Gon Jinn has returned from the dead and learned the secret of immortality. Through the Netherworld, Jedi are able to become Force Ghosts with the proper knowledge.
Why don't Sith become Force Ghosts? Well, it seems like it's because they're locked within Chaos, as described by Empatojayos Brand at the end of the Empire's End comic. What is Chaos? Well, as I said, it's Hell. I'll explain more within the video.
