6Have you ever wanted to see Star Wars The Clone Wars Remastered in 4K?
Well I know I have since the earlier seasons of the show and the movie were originally released in standard definition which was expected for the time but nowadays it is rather hard to enjoy on our large displays and TVs.
So that's when I had the idea to remaster The Clone Wars into 4K and 60fps since I have a fascination with machine learning and upscaling in general. I decided to attempt to upscale The Clone Wars Movie first since it was the first piece of 3D clone wars to be released and thus look the most outdated. Now I am a beginner to all this so yes there are mistakes in the upscale but overall I am super pleased with it.
I used my copy of the movie to upscale which was acquired in 2008 when the movie first released and thus is the 576p version of the film, I could've used a more updated release such as the Disney plus version but I wanted to challenge myself to all the heavy lifting myself and I think considering all that it came out very well.
I hope you all enjoy this and much as I do and for those asking if they can see the whole film, I'd love to show you the whole thing BUT as we all know Disney wouldn't be too happy with me if I just uploaded the whole movie. I've pondered emailing someone at Lucasfilm with the copy of the upscaled version to see if they would interested in using it, nothing would probably come of it but it would be worth a sort to allow us all to see and enjoy the Remastered Version.
