In episode 10 of our let's play Starbound Nightly Builds series, we play more nightly builds, in which the developers have uploaded the very latest preview version of Starbound from that day's development.

During this let's play Starbound 1.0 preview video, we take a look at how to hire a crew of NPCs.

Starbound crew members can be hired by completing quests for NPCs, or by going to the outpost and spending a lot of pixels to hire penguins.

In this Starbound 1.0 preview video we visit our newly built NPC colony, complete some of their quests as they appear and eventually we are asked by a tenant to join our crew. We also go to the outpost to see how hiring penguin mercenaries works.
