In episode 9 of our let's play Starbound Nightly Builds series, we play more nightly builds, in which the developers have uploaded the very latest preview version of Starbound from that day's development.

During this let's play Starbound 1.0 preview video, we take a look at the new version of skyrails, now just called rails, but expanded greatly.

Starbound rails now are more versatile and do not require you to equip tech to use them. Now they can be ridden either with a craftable hook, or by placing a moving platform on the rails, which you can ride Mario style!

Rails are built at a rail crafting table - we see how to craft one, and what else you can craft other than rails, including sensors, stoppers and more.
