In episode 12 of our let's play Starbound Nightly Builds series, we play more nightly builds, in which the developers have uploaded the latest preview version of Starbound 1.0 from that day's development.
During this let's play Starbound 1.0 preview video, we check out new Starbound wands and refreshed staffs, both magical weapons that require energy to fire.
These Starbound magic weapons both have a primary fire made up of a random combination of ability and elemental force. Starbound wands are a one-handed weapon with just the primary attack, whereas Starbound staffs are a two-handed weapon that also has a secondary attack that places a zone of influence at the cursor of various effects.
In this Starbound 1.0 preview video we test out 12 or so randomly generated Starbound staffs and wands, plus see how to forge special ferozium wands at a manipulator table, and we test out one more unique weapon designed by Starbound pre-order backers.
