Patch 1.1 for Starbound is out, and in this video a provide an overview of Starbound Patch 1.1 and the major features it adds. Notably, Starbound 1.1 now has fishing, a “collections” tab, and a relocator device that helps move friendly mobs around the map. It also introduces Novakid villages and NPCs! (I just didn’t find any yet.) So come and take a look at the fishing mechanic, find out where to craft the fishing rods, and how to use the relocator!

In this video I look at Starbound version 1.1 and the changes introduced by Patch 1.1. This includes the introduction of fishing (a fishing minigame) and the relocator tool. I show off Starbound 1.1's fishing rods (both) and the mechanics of how to catch fish in starbound. In reality, Starbound 1.1 fishing is very easy--just reel in the fish and try to prevent the line from snapping. Also, Starbound 1.1 includes a relocator tool for moving friendly mobs around without having to heard them. My little video shows the starbound 1.1 gameplay associated with building a (crude) aquarium and then releasing the fish back into the water. Starbound patch 1.1 also introduces Novakid NPCs (including Saloons and villages), but I couldn't find any to show off. Still, this overview of Starbound 1.1 changes should be helpful to some, and I hope you come and let's play starbound 1.1.
