Activating Kaptar's Machines - Obduction Full Playthrough - Episode 11 - Let's Play Obduction Blind
Time to explore the Arai world and try to figure out what all of the machinery does. (Note: this may take more than one episode.) Join me for a full, blind Obduction playthrough and guide, focusing on exploration and gameplay. Come and let's play Obduction blind!
Obduction is a game from Cyan, the studio responsible for Myst and Riven. Obduction is the spiritual successor to those games and promises beautiful imagery and difficult puzzles. Thus far, it has not disappointed me and I am really looking forward to continuing the Obduction full playthrough. Come and let's play Obduction with me!
In episode 11 of let’s play Obduction blind, we turn on the Kaptar machinery and disable the red Mofang beam. We then continue exploring Kaptar to find more species of Arai, giant skeletons, and yet more mysterious ruins. Needless to say, my Obduction blind walkthrough is shaping up to be quite interesting. With every episode, my satisfaction with the Obduction gameplay grows. At least, these are my Obduction first impressions. I cannot wait to experience more Obduction gameplay and can't wait to continue my let's play Obduction series.

Obduction is the kind of game that I can really get into. I loved Myst and Riven (though I was too young for Myst). I look forward to the Obduction gameplay and my let's play series--Obduction's puzzles and discovering how amazing a game can be in Part 1 of my Obduction let's play. Hopefully this Let's Play Obduction Blind series will run through the whole game (though let me know if I should move on to something else). Specifically, I hope to make this an Obduction full playthrough and walkthrough so that everyone can enjoy the game along with me!
On the Episode 1 of let's play Obduction blind, an unknown object transports me to an alien world called Hunrath. Watch my Obduction walkthrough as I explore the area and find hologram recordings of Josef (the mayor) and a woman named Farley. In Episode 2, of let’s play Obduction blind, we continued looking around Hunrath by visiting the Hartnell Mining Company and the surrounding locations. I explore the area and find more hologram recordings of Josef (the mayor) and stumble upon a hatch with a man inside (maybe C.W.). He promptly informs me that we are in a prison and that the whole place is on lockdown for some Mofang battle. In Episode 3 of let’s play Obduction blind, I work to restore the power to the town, per C.W.’s request. Stick around for more let’s play Obduction blind! Episode 4 of let’s play Obduction blind finds me going back to C.W., exploring his workshop, and learning how to open Farley’s house. In Episode 5 of let’s play Obduction, I look through Farley’s house and learn about the three alien species: Mofang, Villein, and Arai. In Episode 6 of let’s play Obduction blind, I disabled the red beam, found other ways to use the Mofang Disabler, and ended up in the Hunrath junkyard. In Episode 7 of the Obduction full playthrough, I power up the garage and learn about Villein numbers and control panels. (Spoilers: We’ll need a little math at some point soon.) In Episode 8 of let’s play Obduction blind, I figure out how to turn on the Tower elevator and discover a way to open the gate to the Tree. In Episode 9 of let’s play Obduction blind, I am instructed to make sure “everything is connected” by C.W. and find seed swap machines that take me to a Vellein world (Maray) and then the Arai world (Kaptar). Episode 10 of let’s play Obduction blind find us on the Arai world (Kaptar) exploring every nook and cranny (and finding all the crannies and nooks crammed full of machinery in various states of disrepair). Needless to say, my Obduction blind walkthrough is shaping up to be quite interesting.

From Cyan, the indie studio that brought you Myst and Riven comes a whole new adventure that will become your world.
You’ve been abducted and added into an alien landscape with a stereotypical, Kansas farmhouse with a white picket fence in a rather bizarre little town that borders the road. And adding to the curiosity, you stumble upon a strange, kluged kiosk that reassuredly welcomes you to “Hunrath”.
