Zerg versus Protoss is one of the match-ups that a lot of people struggle with. This is simply because of the wide array of Protoss all-ins that a Protoss can throw at a Zerg players. It seems very overwhelming, until you break it down and realise what is really going on in the game.

All you need to defend Protoss all-ins is a bigger economy. That's it. Unit composition generally don't matter. It doesn't matter if you ONLY play Zerg versus Protoss with Roach Zergling. Heck! I've seen people defend all-ins with Queen Spine Crawler just fine, simply by establishing a bigger economy than their oponnents.

Never ever forget to make as many Drones as you possibly can, before making your army. FIRST making your economy and THEN making your army is what is key in defending versus all-ins, especially versus Protoss.

After holding the Protoss all-in, you pretty much always win. If he doesn't leave, simply counter attack and you should be good to finish the game straight off.
