StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void Patch Notes! (April 27, 2015)
The second set of patch notes for the StarCraft 2 expansion Legacy of the Void is announced. There are quite a couple of significant changes to discuss.
First off the new Terran unit. While there isn't a whole lot clear about this unit it seems that this is going to be a unit from the Starport that will have different attack moves.
Reapers will get a new ability that allows them to throw grenades and push armies back. I like the idea of making the Reaper a more core army unit that will also be viable in the mid game.
The mineral changes are silly in my opinion. It will provide more options for building up a massive army without ever moving out and it seems honestly very unnecessary.
The changes to Warpgates, the Adept and the Cyclone seem fair. I like the fact that you can now control Adepts better (how could this ever be a bad thing) and the fact that the Cyclone will be less of an all-round unit early game and mid game.
The changes made to the Swarm Host and the Ravager are much too extreme in my opinion. It will make too many changes to either unit. Making the Ravager too weak, and the Swarm Host much too strong.
