StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void - Zerg versus Terran Strategy! (Game Analysis)
StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void Zerg versus Terran game analysis with a focus on Zerg versus Terran strategy.
The end goal of Zerg versus Terran is making a massive Swarm containing of Ultralisks, Zerglings and whatever army is left over or feels good. Anything from Queens, Lurkers, Hydralisks, Infestors, Swarm Hosts and Vipers is a great addition to this army. The reason why Ultralisk Zergling is so powerful is the simple fact that they work very well together, and both got buffed significantly in the Legacy of the Void expansion.
However, getting to this end goal is the tricky part. Terran players will harass with Hellions, Hellbats, Cyclones, Banshees and later on with aggressive Marine Marauder Mine Medivac timing attacks. This forces the Zerg to play according to what the Terran is playing, and to counter their army while slowing teching up to a Hive and eventually Ultralisks.
In this specific game I decide to play Zerglings and Queens early on, into Roach, Hydralisks and Lurkers in the mid game and last but not least Ultralisks. My opponent decides to play Hellion into Banshee aggression, while expanding aggressively and building up the Bio ball.
