The basics of cover in the Starfinder RPG from Paizo!

This one might be slightly controversial, so let me address the "elephant in the room". This overview of cover does not discuss what happens when a target line runs the length of a wall. This is a condition that only appears in the description of a picture in the Core Rules, not in the text explanation of cover, and there is a lot to support the belief that it is an editing error... not the least of which being the official wiki does not mention it at all.

So in an attempt to avoid confusion, I have omitted it as well. However, in the name of being complete, I may discuss this situation in an upcoming supplemental video.
