With Admiral's Orders and Flagships coming up, I wanted to test out the viability of the single-massive-megaship build. This is the first "Dreadnought" class test and It turned out very well. I tried playing -against it- as well with a cookie-cutter klingon 3-Ship. I think beating this kind of build will be difficult in the coming months.

The Federation Dreadnought gets 4 actions per turn. The standard action which is used to activate Sulu, reload the Advanced Weapon System, or Sensor Echo depending on the best defensive option. It then gets a free Target Lock from its Flagship action bar, and two more standard ship actions (Usually Battlestations and then Scan/Evade). Sensor echo is a very powerful maneuverability tool and I use it often.

In the entire game I only "fire" 4 shots with Picard: 2 Mine Drops, 1 Torpedo launch, and 1 regular attack (which wasn't worth it).
