According to PC Gamer, Valve will release the Steam Controller in October or November. PC Gamer got the info from a "trusted source with knowledge of Valve's Steam Machines project."

The anonymous source also revealed that the completion of Steam Controller is the final piece of business done before the release of Steam Consoles, and that Steam Machines will also be released before the end of the year.
