Steam Deck Game Play: Sandwalkers The 14th Caravan DEMO
1Video showing initial game play for Sandwalkers The 14th Caravan DEMO on the Steam Deck. Steam says the game is Unknown for support at this time, but it seems to be Playable with just a few simple controls. You use the Right Track Pad or Right Joystick to move the in-game mouse pointer and then use the Right Trigger R2 to select. The game looks good. A little bit of the text is a little small, but I didn't have to use the Magnifier. Some icons are so small that I have no idea what they are or what they are supposed to represent. I did experience one issue during combat. The window boxes that appear when you hover over your attack/power options were blank so I had no idea what each thing did. Maybe that is by design and you are supposed to read and remember them. Or maybe it is an issue on the Steam Deck. But it does make combat very difficult when you don't know what anything is doing. I think this DEMO would benefit from a good tutorial. Valve might consider the game to at least be Playable, but the text size and the issue with the blank windows might make it so this game won't be Verified.
