Steam Deck unboxing and first experience - let me know what games you want to see running!
So, my SteamDeck is finally here - this is a rough video (sorry for the audio) where I fire it up, install a few bits and have a look at it.
Videos coming soon where I play and talk about some games. Let me know in the comments what games you want to see running!
So far it's *not* perfect - it took three launches of Rise of the Tomb Raider before it'd recognise the steam controller config at all - but I'm really pleased with it overall!
Other off-camera findings:
Batman Arkham Asylum just exits immediately when trying to launch
Tomb Raider plays really well
Elden Ring looks MUCH nicer than streaming in-house
The fan noise can be annoying with a high-pitched noise from the airflow.
Shout out to WildAnnie who accidentally features 5 minutes in :)
