0So when I first started listening to Goose (circa early 2020), they were kind of unpolished and unfocused, but when they got into a groove, they rode it just as well as any jam band you could possibly name. Listening to them in 2021 is so much more satisfying. They have really come into their own, and are starting to command the types of crowds their skills are suited for. Will they ever be Phish? Was the fish of reality ever the Phish of legend? Tough questions. In the meantime, I have some crunchy grooves to slide away on.
