Steam Update - Friends List Appearing On Startup *FIX*
220***SETTINGS CHANGED AS OF 11/9 UPDATE***
"-nofriendsui -nochatui -steamos"
be SURE to include "-steamos"
I literally uninstalled Steam in frustration from this... the day Valve released the update.
Go to your Steam shortcut right-click Properties. Add:
-nofriendsui
-nochatui
I hope this fixes your problem ;) --It did for me!
