Here's how it is: The Earth got blown up, so we died. Robots hung around doing what they do best, mine the chunks of rock left for water. These 'steambots' working the fringes came in conflict with the militaristic empire of oil running bots around the earth's core, but as tensions boil over, a new threat from beyond the outer reach looms, a hive mind more dangerous than any threat a scrapper has seen before.

This was an awesome game to play, I know I really slog through the final boss in this video, but the ability to ricochet your shots is amazingly fun and addictive. Killing four or more enemies in a single turn with a well placed shot is so satisfying. That kind of action was even enough to sustain my enjoyment well after the game was finished and I was completing achievements.

Besides the awesome gameplay, I really enjoyed the soundtrack. I had never heard of Steam Powered Giraffe before this game, but I'm glad they did the music. It was a perfect choice for the motif of the game. I found myself hanging out in the bars to listen to the band play

If you are into steampunk or love strategy, then definitely try out this unique game from Image & Form.
