Stellar Blade ALREADY has a POST LAUNCH UPDATE & NEW GAME+
1Stellar Blade is scheduled for release by the end of April, promising a dynamic and stylish melee-action experience. However, certain features will not be available immediately upon launch. Although New Game Plus is part of the game's roadmap, it won't be accessible at release. Instead, players can anticipate its arrival through a post-launch update, alongside complimentary cosmetic skins offered as DLC.
Kim Hyung Tae, the director of Stellar Blade and CEO of developer SHIFT UP, disclosed these plans in a recent interview with South Korean website Ruliweb, as cited by Push Square. During the interview, he addressed topics such as microtransactions and post-launch content updates. SHIFT UP intends to introduce free cosmetic outfits for the main protagonist, Eve, shortly after the game's launch. Additionally, a subsequent update post-launch will introduce the option to retain progress for New Game Plus mode.
