Stellaris MP Let's Play - The TechDeck Campaign Episode 32
0Come join Peri and me as we embark on a multiplayer game without any previous play experience of Stellaris. There will - inevitably - be blunders to behold.
Stellaris has a different approach to researchable techs than other 4X games. They're not organized in any clear 'tech tree', but rather they're individual cards in a deck, and every time you research something, you get dealt a new hand to choose one card from. In short, rather than a tech tree, Stellaris has a tech deck.
For this particular session, we've both chosen to go with Science Directorate governments (which gives one extra card each draw), in an attempt to encounter as many as possible of the rare techs that hide within the deck.
