The STEN gun is a British submachinegun chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum. It saw extensive service with British and other commonwealth forces during World War II and Korea. SOG spike teams commonly use the STEN during prisoner snatch missions – as it can be equipped with a suppressor and is exceptionally easy to transport – even in addition to other weaponry. Its magazines hold 32 rounds and the weapon can be fired both in automatic and semi-automatic modes. Unsuppressed, it has an effective range of 100 meters. Though it may be tempting to grasp this weapon by the magazine, avoid this, as it will wear the magazine catch, eventually causing failure to feed.
