Step 1 in getting my Motorcycle license has begun! horizontal #shorts
0so my motorcycle was shipped to me with tires that are not DOT approved so they are Not street legal..
so in order for me to get my license i have to replace both tires with DOT approved street legal tires..
i had to figure out a way to remove both wheels without a motorcycle jack, i zipties two jackstands to the frame of the bike then i lifted the bike untill the jack stands were raised enough to hold the wheels off the ground..
i did a two person job by using my brain, its sketchy af but relatively stable and it got the job done =) if only the honda dealer wouldn't of refused to do this job for me this would of been much simpler, but noooo they refused because my bike beit being exactly the same as a honda, uses genuine honda parts, it not being a genuine honda they refused the job. effing stupid if you ask me.
p.s. i had to replace the tires because it won't pass the safety inspection that they do when i go for my on road riders test to get my actual license.
