Stephen "tWitch" Boss Passes Away at 40
We are sad to report that Stephen "tWitch" Boss, known for his work as a DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and as a dancer on So You Think You Can Dance, has passed away at the age of 40. His wife, Allison Holker, confirmed the news on Dec. 14, sharing that her husband was "the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans." E! News can confirm that Boss died by suicide.
In one of his final interviews, Boss emphasized the importance of small acts of kindness and enjoying the time we have with loved ones. "No act of kindness is too small," he said at the Industry Dance Awards in October. "It's the next chapter of life and it's been really great just having that time back and that's what it's about, time. It's our most precious commodity so while I have it, I'm soaking it all up."
The news of Boss' passing has sparked an outpouring of love and support from fans and colleagues alike, including Ellen DeGeneres who said, "I'm heartbroken. tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him."
Our thoughts are with Boss' loved ones during this difficult time.
