Stock Car Speedway PS2 Gameplay (Play It)
14Stock Car Speedway is a game that didnt get much attention in the UK. Not just due to it being a budget game, but mainly the fact that Nascar style racing isnt very popular over here, and there were far more better rally choices on offer. However, Stock Car Speedway is a very enjoyable game.
The controls in the game seem hard to master at first, but like any other racing game, youl find a vehicle to suit your driving skills. Once your down to action the game is very fast paced and competetive, having you on the edge of your seat many times over.
Playing a tournament/championship allows you to go through everything down to qualification rounds, and the game has a lot of longevity with its racing seasons.
Multiplayer as shown in this video was a slight letdown, having everyone qualify on seperate turns seemed unnecessary, especially when the race itself is split screen. But its all good fun still, and very challenging.
Stock Car Speedway is quite a cheap game to pickup, so if you see it around id definately reccomend it.
