Hello and welcome to GamerU tips and tricks for Stormfall: Rise of Balur for the iPad.

As the one in charge of the troops, it is important to know the difference between the troops and what each troop is designated for. Luckily, Stormfall handles this information so it is up to you to use it as you will. Within the game, there are plenty of different types of units. Amongst these units are three different designated troop types. They are Offense, Defense and Spying.

While Spying troops are important, the majority of your troops will either be Offensive or Defensive, and as a result, they are the main focus of your army. Thus, it is important to be able to distinguish between the different types and what they do. Offensive units are your attacking units. They are represented by red sword icons. These are the units such as your Pikeman, Paladin and Knights. They are the units that you use to raid castles and attack battlegrounds. On the other hand, Defensive units are those that help to defend yourself and your castle. They are represented by green shield icons. These are the units such as Archers, Dwarves and Nomads. They are the units that you use to defend your castle as well as other settlements and locations that you claim.

Both of these different designations are essential to know and to use properly. You are able to use the different troop types for opposite tasks, but it is recommended against because it is essentially the same as sacrificing your troops to die.

Knowing your troops is an important aspect of a leader. Thus, it’s important to know the different types of troops that there are and what they are capable of doing.
