Hello and welcome to GamerU tips and tricks for Stormfall: Rise of Balur for the iPad.

The bigger the world is the more there is to explore. There are a number of different places in the world of Stormfall that you are able to send troops to and explore on the map. Out of all the different places, one of the bigger ones that you are capable of doing are Settlements. Settlements are littered throughout the world of Stormfall and they are usually packed full of resources that you are able to gather while it’s available.

In order to access Settlements, you need an Eagle’s Nest. Once you do, enter your Eagle’s Nest and click the tab for Settlements. Once there, you are capable of seeing all the different types of settlements and whether they are claimed, either by an NPC or another player, or unclaimed. Once you are able to see the Settlements around you, you are able to see the different types of Settlements and where they are. There are four different types of Settlements. They are Gold, Iron, Food and Sapphires.

In order to claim a Settlement for yourself or your League, it takes two steps and some supervision. The first step is to send in your offensive units to fight and wipe out whoever currently holds the land, whether it be another player or an NPC. The second step is the longer step. This is where you send in some defensive units, recall your attackers and start cultivating the resources available. Once you have claimed the land, you need to keep an eye on it because you are bound to get attacked at some point. Just like how you attacked someone to take the land, someone is bound to attack.

Settlements are a great way to get a resources, such as Sapphires, that you may be lacking. Acquiring settlements takes the work of using both your offensive and defensive units, but once you do, you will be given a great resource. Just remember to stay strong in defending it and all the resources can be yours.
