Hello and welcome to GamerU tips and tricks for Stormfall: Rise of Balur for the iPad.

In this game, you are going to find a number of different currencies. Some make sense like Gold and Sapphires, but others, like the Skull Runes, are a little weird. As weird as it may be, it is just as useful as the Gold you get.

This is because Skull Runes can be used to improve your army in the Obelisk of Power. The Obelisk of Power is a building that you can get early on in the game, and as you unlock different units in the game, you can use this to improve different aspects of these units. Most of these aspects, at least the starting ones, are the different unit’s speed; however, as you progress further down the skill tree, you can unlock improvements to training time, revival speed, discovery speed and more.

You use the Obelisk of Power by tapping on the skill bonus you would like to power up and then selecting apply. As you do, you will use one Skull Rune, which will help to power up the given skill. While you may be forced down a straight-forward skill tree in the beginning, it expands after a while and allows for choices to what skills you want to improve. If you ever decide that you made a big mistake with the way you used your Skull Runes, you can use an Edit to reset the skills and get back the Skull Runes you’ve used so far.

Regardless how you proceed down the skill tree, you are able to accomplish plenty with the Obelisk of Power. More than that, you can unlock a number of different skills to improve your units and make your army a force to fear.
