Strain Review Sesh! || Gelato by Vibe Cannabis!
12Happy Monday! I've got another strain review ready to go! Today we're talking about Gelato coming from Vibe Cannabis! Gelato is a cross between Thin Mint GSC x Sunset Sherbet.
This batch is testing at a total cannabinoid count of 27.95%, total THC at 23.24%, THCA at 25.97%, CBD at .07%, CBDA at .01%, and CBGA at .91%. The terpenes are testing at about 2.2% with b-Caryophyllene, Linalool, and d-Limonene being the top three most dominant. Vibe cultivates at the terpene's peak and freezes them for a low and slow cure. They also take care to avoid touching the buds to avoid losing any terpenes or cannabinoids that way. Their care and effort really shows in the flower they've put out. I'm about to get into it. I just wanted to say first that, especially for the price, this stuff is phenomenal. And it's their first harvest. I can't help but be hype for it hahaha
So on the scent I really got each individual terpene. I could clearly smell notes of pepper, floral, and citrus zest. But on the flavor, it blends together all so well. It's about the most perfect version of Gelato I've ever had. The flavor is predominantly fruity, very reminiscent of grape or berries that's followed by a light creaminess. Which is exactly where the name is coined from. From all descriptions I could find, this stuff is absolutely spot on.
The effects are, of course, just as accurate. Mentally stimulating with a nice, calm body high. A perfect balance between the two. This strain works wonderfully for pain relief, depressive mental health issues, energy, it's just everything you could imagine Gelato would give you. The only thing that would impress me more is if the numbers were even higher but by no means am I complaining. I could just imagine with the same proportions just higher this stuff would be a one bowl and done smoke. Even for me! lol I've been stopping at two bowls of all the strains I have from them. I usually go with four!
