Strain Review Sesh! || Squatch Grease by Head Change!
It is Wednesday, my dudes! And it's time for a strain reviiieew! Today we're going over Squatch Grease live badder by Head Change.
Squatch Grease is a cross of Bigfoot Glue and Grease Monkey. This batch is testing at a total THC of 87.42%, delta-9 at .14%, THCA at 99.52%, CBD at 4.39%, and CBN at .14%. The terpenes on this batch are testing at 6.53% with Limonene, Caryophyllene Oxide, and b-Myrcene being the top three.
Hash notes read, "Bigfoot's Lavender Rum." The flavor, to me, is definitely citrus and pepper forward with an earthy back bone. And of course, as your dab temp goes up, the flavor will kind of change. At a higher temp, it came across much more musky and earthy with some pepper and citrus making its way through. I've never had Bigfoot Glue but I can totally taste the Grease Monkey coming through. Very nice, kind of a gassy and sweet flavor with some earthier tones coming in maybe from the Bigfoot Glue side of the genetics.
Effects wise, this stuff was very uplifting but also quite relaxing. Having Limonene as a dominant terpene really brings out the head buzz in a lot of strains, for me. But the Caryophyllene and Myrcene bring that body high in to be very calm and relaxing. A very solid strain for pain and stress relief along with helping quite a bit with appetite. This strain was perfect for all day use for me but for others it may potentially lean towards more relaxing or sedating. Just depends on how you respond to the terpenes at hand. Which is a perfect segue into a little excerpt about Caryophyllene Oxide. It's real quick, I promise. Basically, it acts very similarly to b-Caryophyllene as far as effects go but from what I can find, the flavor can come across slightly more musky. Still just as peppery just with a little more muskyness. Idk. It'll take a few experiences with it for me to properly identify it as well as I can others. But from the few sources I could find online, it was just vaguely different in flavor. But overall pretty much the same, as far as user experience goes.
Alright, running out of space so I'm going to wrap it up! Melt shot and banger brought to you by Headington Art Gallery! New round of reviews start Monday!
