Hello! Happy Monday, everyone! Was today a rough start to the week for anyone else? ๐Ÿ˜…

Anyway, today we're going over Purkle Stardust badder by Head Change! This strain is a cross of Bellini x Berkel. This batch is testing at 84.26% total THC, 0.21% D-9 THC, 95.84% THCA, 0.62% CBD, and 0.05% CBN. And the terpenes are at 7.08% with a-Bisabolol, b-Myrcene, and b-Caryophyllene being the top three. And the hash notes read, "Astral Apple Jacks."

So, as far as the flavor goes, it's quite earthy, floral, and peppery. With even a slight touch of sweetness. a-Bisabolol can be found in Chamomile and brings floral, sweet, and herbal flavors to the mix. While b-Myrcene has a much earthier and musky flavor. And of course, b-Caryophyllene has a predominantly peppery flavor with earthy/musky undertones. As a whole, the hash notes do kind of ring true. The floral and sweet flavors coming from the a-Bisabolol blend with the b-Myrcene and , Caryophyllene to create a musky and chemically bowl of lightly fruity cereal. Making this quite the tasty bed time strain ๐Ÿ˜Š

I found the effects of this strain to be almost exactly what I look for when I'm trying new strains. It was predominantly relaxing and sedating with very lightly uplifting vibes. Perfect for settling a busy mind and body without bringing yourself "down" too much. And it worked well for pain relief! Helped relieve inflammation and I don't recall a peep from my neurological issues. The only thing is, I had a hard time deciphering if it impacted my appetite. The terpene profile suggests that it should but I have such a touchy system that, sometimes nothing does the trick. But I will say, on the day that I only used this strain, I woke up already having issues. So, it may have just had a much more difficult fight to keep it in check. It did make it tolerable to eat. But just barely.

So, overall, definitely an evening or night time strain for a lot of people but if you're an "Indica" fiend, this one was made for you. Not necessarily the "headiest," but very relaxing and very chill.

Alright, that does it for today! And of course the melt shots are provided by the homies over at Headington Art Gallery! See y'all on Wednesday for the next one!
