Strain Review Sesh! || Trop Mac & Cream by Head Change!
Hello! It's time for a strain review! Today we're talking about Trop Mac & Cream live badder by Head Change. Trop Mac & Cream is a mix of Sunset Mac x Clementine x Creamz and is a relaxing, buzzy, and uplifting strain with fruity and musky/chemically flavors.
This batch is testing at 86.96% THCA, 00.18% THC, 2.25% CBD, and 5.25% terpenes. Limonene, Nerolidol, and a-Bisabolol being the top three.
The hash notes read, "Guava Stardust," and I think this is a pretty solid description. There's a tropical fruitiness to it that's quite enjoyable and it's followed by the strong, musky, and chemically exhale. With Limonene being the dominant terpene, you get a lot of that citrus showing through which can impact both the fruity and chemical flavor profiles. The Nerolidol adds to the fruitiness as well but also contributes to the musky flavor profile. And the a-Bisabolol is strictly a savory kind of terpene. Adding to the musky and chemical aspects of the flavor.
The effects are fairly balanced on this one. The euphoric side of things is rather uplifting and spacey and the body high is rather relaxing but also a little tingly. It worked decently for minor aches and pains but fell short for some of the more severe flare ups of nerve pain. This one also helped with mental health, as it's a rather uplifting strain. And I also found it to positively impact my appetite. Maybe not the strongest strain for appetite support but it made a difference. The Limonene is heavily responsible for the uplifting and buzzy side of things. While Nerolidol can be found in Chamomile and is suspected to be one of the reasons it's a rather relaxing medicinal plant. So it more so contributes to the relaxing aspects of the body high. While also supporting the uplifting effects. And the same goes for a-Bisabolol. It's know to be relaxing and that likely also supports the uplifting aspects of the strain. Something interesting about a-Bisabolol, though, is it's in a lot of plants and acts as an insect repellent. Pretty interesting stuff, you learn, looking all this up.
