Hello! Starting this week with a review of Grease Monkey sugar from Elevate that I picked up at Easy Mountain!

Grease Monkey is a cross of Gorilla Glue #4 x Cookies N' Cream. It's listed as an "Indica leaning Hybrid." This batch has a total Cannabinoid of 83.57% with total THC at 70.09% putting d-9 THC at 2.24% and THCa at 77.36%. Total CBD comes out to about .1% with CBDa at .16% and no CBD. No CBN is present and there are no results for any other Cannabinoids. They also lack Terpene testing info on the box. Although, I will say, you can expect heightened amounts of Myrcene, Caryophyllene, and Limonene with this strain. And I do believe that's consistent with this product.

The smell comes across as pretty musky with a little citrus and spice lingering in the background. This comes across on the flavor as an earthy and musky chemically flavor. If you focus in on it, you can pick out this citrus rind, spice, and earthy flavors you might expect from a cured product with these Terpenes.

I'm also happy to say, it hit the nail on the head for the effects. Pretty much exactly what I'd expect from Grease Monkey. Instantly rather buzzy from head to toe with a little rush of euphoria. The lift off from this strain is very cerebral and rather intense but it also has a nice and relaxed body high that kind of warms in as that initial rush wares down. Grease Monkey consistently has that slight uplift with such a nice body high. I love to use it as an all day strain, as it has that pretty heavy body high but doesn't cloud out my head or make me drowsy. So it works well for me for pain relief, stress, mood, appetite, and at the right dose could be right for a sleep aid. Especially for the right person. That kind of just depends on how you react to the Terpenes.

Anyway, that's that! I've been rather happy with the Elevate concentrates. For our market, it's a pretty good deal for the two gram jars. You're obviously not getting a super terpy and tasty live badder but it does taste just fine for a cured product and works just fine as well. I'd say it's a safe budget buy if they specifically have a strain that you like.
