Strange Menger [Fractal Zoom]
Music: Klaus Schulze: Echoes of Time
This one was done in Mandelbulber, not in Mandelbulb 3D. It took four times as long to render than the other one, even if it's only twice as long. Let me guess. If I make a three minute long one, it'll take either nine times as long to render, or sixteen times as long to render, depending whether this time is increasing quadratically or exponentially.
Anyway, this is a variation of the Menger Sponge. Its parameters are more or less like the Menger Sponge, except it has a vector offset of x: 3.00, y: 1.51, and z: 0.63. Other than that, the other values are more or less a pure Menger Sponge.
I'm working on more and more complex zooms, and as I slowly figure out how to make different fractals in the various programs, I'll get to making nicer and nicer zooms. Eventually I'll make a 4k zoom, because there doesn't seem to be many of those, and that's something that could really benefit out of higher resolutions. After all, fractals could benefit from having literally infinite resolution x'D
I know it looks like a drunk pigeon that flew through it. Just bear with me. I'm getting there.
I'm also trying to figure out Kalles Fraktaler, so that I can you know, actually have a Mandelbrot Set zoom to feature on my page, since that's what my display name is?
But that will come with time.
