For this mission, we start by going up through a tower, eventually reaching a device that teleports us into SPACE. Because why not! I do actually love space settings and being on a space ship or space station is my favorite kind of atmosphere, so this was a fun area to go through.

What wasn't fun was the boss. Fuck Tiamat. She's the hardest boss outside of DLC, bar none. and it's strictly because she has that damned "Regenerate" mechanic where you just have to keep whittling her down or have a set up that's geared towards high burst damage to drain her stamina/HP all at once and finish her that way. Massive pain in the ass to fight, took me several attempts to actually beat her, though I cut most of them out. Every boss after this? Almost all of them were single attempts.

She only starts regenerating during phase 2 of her fight and I just had to change up my fighting style to be hyper aggressive and rely more on blocking attacks than properly avoiding them with dodging, which also just felt unreliable. Tiamat's attacks are so frequent that if you dodge, you won't have much of a window to actually land counterattacks, if at all. So this one fight just forced me to play in a way I wouldn't normally, all due to a single mechanic. I view this as poor balance considering literally everything else in the game is a pushover.
