The versions tested were 1.02 on the PS4 consoles and 1.0.2.0 on the Xbox One consoles. Xbox code provided by Square-Enix.

Timestamps:
00:00 - PS4 Favor Performance Mode
12:36 - PS4 Favor Resolution Mode
25:12 - Xbox One S
37:49 - PS4 Pro Favor Performance Mode
50:25 - PS4 Pro Favor Resolution Mode
1:03:01 - Xbox One X

The PS4 consoles both have a Favor Performance Mode and Favor Resolution Mode. The Xbox One consoles don't have any selectable modes.

PS4 in Performance Mode and Xbox One S both render at a native resolution of 1280x720.

PS4 in Resolution Mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 1920x1080 and the lowest resolution found being 1344x756.

PS4 Pro in Performance Mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 1280x720 and the lowest resolution found being 1152x648. Pixel counts below 1280x720 seem to be very rare on PS4 Pro in Performance Mode.

PS4 Pro in Resolution Mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 3840x2160 and the lowest resolution found being 3648x2052. Pixel counts below 3840x2160 seem to be very rare on PS4 Pro in Resolution Mode. PS4 Pro in Resolution Mode uses Geometry Rendering to reach its stated resolution. With Geometry Rendering the edges of geometry resolve to full resolution while shading and texture detail is quarter resolution (half resolution on each axis).

Xbox One X uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 1920x1080 and the lowest resolution found being 1344x756. Pixel counts below 1920x1080 seem to be rare on Xbox One X.

Cutscenes seem to be locked to a native resolution of 1920x1080 on PS4 in Resolution Mode, PS4 Pro in Resolution Mode and Xbox One X.

PS4 in Performance Mode, PS4 Pro in Performance Mode and Xbox One S all render cutscenes at 1280x720.

There are two types of cutscenes: the first uses the same rendering setup as gameplay and the second is always capped at 30fps even when gameplay is capped at 60fps. The cutscene specific resolution figures above are for the second type of cutscene.

The Xbox One consoles don't have motion blur. The PS4 consoles do have motion blur and have the option to turn it off.

Graphical settings seem to be similar between PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One X and Xbox Series S. Xbox One S has some graphical downgrades compared to the other consoles such as: reduced draw distance, reduced ground detail and certain shadows seem to be missing on Xbox One S.

There is dithering present on the Xbox One consoles that doesn't seem to be present to the same extent on the PS4 consoles. The Xbox One versions are darker than the PS4 versions even though the brightness was set to the default value for all consoles.
