Strata Bowling Arcade M.A.M.E Retro Game Session
0Strata Bowling mixes physical elements with video game components to simulate a pin bowling alley in a box.
Instead of a control panel, you have a lane with guiding arrows and a snooker like cue ball is dispensed from the front of the machine.
The ball is rolled across the "control deck" into the machine, where sensors detect the speed and direction of the ball. The game can also be played with a trackball, similar to the previous Incredible Technologies' offering, Capcom Bowling.
The game has three modes:
Strata Bowling: Regulation 10 pin bowling, consisting of ten frames. The player gets two throws per frame to knock over all ten pins.
Flash: Time your roll to score a bonus for a strike or a spare
Strike or Die: Keep bowling in a frame while you get up to 5 strikes. Miss a strike and your turn is over.
