1Chapter 4: The Slums
The robot will seal a gate behind it, forcing you to move forward and to the right, passing by empty stalls and storefronts. More robots will scatter as you continue up and to the left before you come to a large open area where a broken elevator lift is. As more robots flee into the lift, a guardian robot will cautiously approach you.
After things have calmed down, speak with the Guardian again and show him the postcard you found earlier. He’ll state that nobody can leave the city, and the elevator above isn’t powered, but certain robots have tried to leave. One of these robots, named Momo, lives above the slums by a lit sign in the distance.
The Slums are fairly open in terms of exploration and things to do, more so than previous chapters. You’ll also be able to return to this area once you leave the first time, so anything you may pass up on investigating can be done later. This walkthrough will cover some of the side quests you can undertake as they intersect with the main story, as well as a few others, with more being covered later in the guide.
