Australia's film and television industry will avoid major cuts as a result of union strikes in Hollywood, but Albanian government is asked to conclude its decision on local content quotas proposed to alleviate the uncertainty in sector. Last year, former Endemol Shine boss Carl Fennessy, together with the Australian studio Dreamchaser Nine Entertainment Hugh Marx's former general manager, writer and actor strike added a layer of complexity to the Australian industry. Carl Fennessy and Hugh Marks launched Dreamchaser with the expectation of visible content quotas. After announceing in January, the government will apply local content requirements for international flow services, the government has not yet set a number for quota.. Marx said that local offices such as Netflix, Disney and Apple will be affected by strikes and Australian content fields are increasingly angled towards a global audience.
