This is the ninth video in my new Arcade Superplay series, and we're going back to one of my favorite fighting games: Street Fighter EX.
We're using the Master of the Fist, Gouki (Akuma outside Japan). Nothing fancy about this particular playthrough, though I tried to land the Shun Goku Satsu as much as I could in the set using the jump method (catch the opponent with the SGS as they're landing from a forward jump). This is one of the easiest ways you can land the forbidden move on the CPU. The jump method works with all SGS-type moves, such as the Kyouja Renbu (Kairi/Hokuto) and the Skullo/Death Dream (Skullo/Geist), all the way up to Street Fighter EX3.
Also, the last hit of EX Gouki's Tatsumaki Zankuukyaku puts the opponent in a juggle state, which you can then Super Cancel or even link with crouching LP into Goushoryuuken. This unique property has been patched in the EX Plus upgrade.
This is the ZN-1 board set to Difficulty Level 8 (Hardest), and Damage Level 4. No losses, no continues, no cheats, no tool assists - this is a legit 1-credit-clear playthrough that includes both the Garuda and the Shin Gouki challenges.
