This is the Japanese version of EX3 (developed by Arika), which was rushed out for the PS2's release as a launch title. As you can see, especially in the minigame at the end, there is tons of slowdown. The English release mitigates this by quite a bit, though it's still present.

I didn't remember which memory card had all the characters unlocked for this version, so I opted to use one of the already unlocked characters, and chose Blanka.

EX3 was one of my favorite games on the PS2 even though it was very rough around the edges compared to something like Tekken Tag. My only complaint back then was that Hayate was taken out, and we still didn't get Akuma back. At least Evil Ryu is in the game as a hidden character, and they brought Sakura back.
